Antique Berber Seal Ring - Agate & Coral

Exceptional large Berber Agate and silver intaglio seal ring dating from early 1900's. Worn by the kings of the Berber tribe, each ring was carved with the tribe's seal. This large and heavy man’s ring is handcrafted with wonderful filigree wire workmanship extending all the way around the body of the ring. The ring is bezel set with a large round agate carved with a Arabic calligraphy and coral cabochons surrounding the seal. The heavy and substantial ring is perfect as a pendant on a necklace or a paper weight/desk object as well.
