Rare and regal ceramic horse head vase by Stangl Pottery.  Stangl began in N.J. in 1814 and produced both dinnerware and decorative ceramics until 1978.  These rare Terrarosa horse head vases were produced from 1942-1944.  It is large, very decorative and nicely detailed with a beautiful variegated blue glaze. Each one is unique and different. The blue is particularly rare.
